About Parkstatic

Parkstatic is a small, independent product, not a venture-backed platform. It is built and supported by Martin Macek, its founder and only developer. There is no support queue staffed by someone else: if you email us, you reach the person who wrote the code.

Why does Parkstatic exist?

The idea came from a bill that didn't make sense. Like a lot of developers, I was paying for WordPress hosting for a blog and a couple of client sites, and separately paying a frontend platform twenty-something dollars a month to serve a handful of static HTML files for a different project. Those files needed no database, no server-side rendering, and no serverless functions - they just needed a web server, and I was already renting one that sat mostly idle. The gap wasn't technical, it was tooling: nothing existed to get a modern build pipeline to publish onto WordPress hosting cleanly. So I built it.

What we will and won't claim

Parkstatic is not right for everyone. If your project needs serverless functions, edge middleware, incremental static regeneration, or preview deployments per pull request, a platform like Netlify or Vercel is a better tool and we say so on our comparison page. Parkstatic is for the common case where a static build just needs a home on a domain you already run. Competitor prices quoted anywhere on this site are taken from public pricing pages and stamped with the date they were checked.

Where you can verify us

The free version of the plugin is published in the official WordPress.org plugin directory, which means it has passed the directory's review process and its source is readable by anyone. Our deploy tooling is the open ParkStatic GitHub Action. Payments are handled by Freemius as merchant of record, so your card details never touch our systems. This very website is built with TanStack Start and deployed to WordPress hosting by Parkstatic itself - if you're wondering whether the product works, you're reading the output.
